This choir is for boys and girls in grades 4-7 from public, private, and homeschools from Dickinson and the surrounding area. No previous vocal training or experience needed. The tryout process is simple and no preparation is necessary. If your child is interested and you need further information, please contact Mrs. Dykema by email or call school. Students across North Dakota began taking the North Dakota State Assessment on Monday, March 30th. Berg students will begin testing on Wednesday, April 1st. This assessment is required by the federal No Child Left Behind legislation. Our sixth grade students will be assessed on state grade level standards in English Language Arts and Mathematics.
The most important thing you can do for your child during testing is to make sure that he/she comes to school on days of testing. If all possible, please avoid scheduling appointments as much as possible during the testing period. Your child will bring home a test schedule that indicates when they are currently scheduled to test.
Berg Elementary appreciates your support during this testing time. In addition to attendance, your child will do their best if they:
*Come to school on time.
*Are well rested on the day of the test.
*Have a good breakfast before they come to school.
